Echo EPR Fly Rod
$ 449.99
The Echo EPR rod series is a series designed to cast large flies in inclement weather. The extra fast action and the deep power of the EPR allow anglers to confidently cast in nearly any saltwater situation. Rajeff Sports has found a way to create a rod that’s stout and extremely powerful while keeping it lightweight and responsive for reduced fatigue during long days on the flats. The purposeful design of the EPR makes it one of the best mid-priced foul weather fly rods on the market today.
Blank
High Modulus Graphite Design - The blank of the EPR rod series has a durable profile and sports a super fast saltwater rod action. This ultra-fast blank design means the EPR loads quickly at short distances and maintains a powerful bottom half to excel at long distance casting, too. A strong bottom half means the EPR also has increased lifting power and ample fish-fighting ability. Echo uses modern resin systems to create a rod blank that is lightweight, durable, and powerful.
Guides
SiC Stripping Guides - The EPR is equipped with corrosion-resistant stainless SiC stripping guides that hold up to weather and wear. These guides are low friction to help fly line shoot effortlessly through the rod.
Stainless Snake Guides - The snake guides on the EPR are lightweight and practical. These guides are also made to protect against saltwater corrosion.
Reel Seat
Maintenance-Free Aluminum w/Uplocking Component - The reel seat on the EPR is made with unrelenting specifications for saltwater fishing. The reel seat features grey anodized aluminum and a double uplocking component. Anodized reel seats are the industry standard in saltwater fly fishing and are built to securely anchor saltwater reels and to stand up to the elements.
Rod Tube
Square Rod Case - The EPR comes in a black fabric-covered square rod tube. Fabric-covered tubes protect rods during time off the water and are a solid mid-priced alternative to an aluminum rod tube.
Warranty
Echo Fly Rod Lifetime Warranty - Echo will repair or replace any defective or damaged rods for the entire lifetime of the original owner. All rods must be sent to Echo for repairs/service. Echo charges a $35 fee for fly rod repairs/replacements.
